I suspect Groban's money was big. And certainly earned in terms of B.O. impact. Those who say the box office fall after his exit off wasn't as steep as Bette-Murphy-ville are using a rather extraordinary phenom as a yardstick. "Comet's..." buzz was at least in part to Groban's long awaited B'way debut. And wasn't it still a half a million or so? Sorry, didn't check. Today's numbers should be interesting.
