Actually, I'm not sure I agree with THAT. Whether or not something is widely agreed or not cannot really be objectively determined, so it can be argued that it is an opinion.
Even if there were polls to determine the existence of a consensus. For example the "Sight and Sound" critics poll has Hitchcock's "Vertigo" as number one.
But if I therefore say: "There is a general consensus that Vertigo is the greatest film of all time", wouldn't that still be an opinion?
