| I’m glad they don’t. There are already twice the number of Tony nominees in a given year than there are for the Oscars, drawn from a far, far smaller pool. If every year there were also Tonys for ensemble of a play and musical, it would seriously diminish the honor of having one. Practically everyone on Broadway would claim to be a Tony winner sooner or later. I say keep it as it is. |
